Most investor and business migrant visas require Victorian visa nomination before applying.

We are pleased to advise that Victoria will begin issuing invitations and assessing nomination applications for affected business and investor visa subclasses from Monday 18 February 2019.

Please note that an Expression of Interest (EOI) process will be introduced for the following visas:

  • 188 – Business Innovation Stream
  • 188 – Investor Stream
  • 188 – Entrepreneur Stream
  • 132 – Business Talent (Permanent) visa – Significant Business History stream
  • 132 – Business Talent (Permanent) visa – Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream

Applicants will now need to submit an EOI for the relevant visa subclass in the Department of Home Affairs' SkillSelect and indicate their interest for Victorian nomination. Please refer to the application process page of the relevant visa subclass you wish to apply for.

Victoria has re-opened nomination applications for the 188 - Significant Investor Stream. This visa type will continue as usual and will not require an invitation to lodge.

Please note, program eligibility criteria are subject to change without notice.
