Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188)
The Australian Government announced that from July 2024 new applications for the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) (subclass 188) visa will no longer be able to be submitted. As a result, we are unable to accept new applications for Victorian nomination for the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188).
Those who hold a subclass 188 visa and meet the relevant criteria for grant of the Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) (subclass 888) visa will still be able to continue this pathway.
Those who hold a subclass 188 visa in either the Business Innovation stream or the Significant Investor stream will still be able to apply for the extension stream of this visa if they require extra time to meet the requirements of the Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) (subclass 888) visa.
The Victorian Government is still accepting applications for Victorian nomination for the 188 - Extension stream (subclass 188) and all streams of the Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888).
If you have applied for, or currently hold, a Business Innovation and Investment Program visa in any stream, you can find information on your business and investment requirements on the relevant subclass 888 stream page.
