In 2025 Victoria exceeded its renewable energy target, with renewables generating 44.6% of the state's electricity. Victoria now has targets of 65% renewable electricity within five years and 95% within ten years,expected to deliver around $9 billion to the Victorian economy and create more than 3,000 jobs.
