Important information
The fees listed on this page are current at the time of publication. Fees may be reviewed and are subject to change.
You can view the payment terms and conditions and refund policy for more information about fees and payments.
Registration of Interest
Before submitting a Registration of Interest, carefully check your eligibility and nomination requirements, including the supporting documents required for Victorian nomination.
Note: The Registration of Interest fee is charged once per program year. If you withdraw and submit a new Registration of Interest within the same program year, you will not be charged again.
A Registration of Interest is valid only for one program year in which it is submitted. A program year commences on or after 1 July and ends on 30 June the following calendar year. Registrations of Interest and nomination applications for a program year may close prior to the end of that program year, on a date to be published on the Live in Melbourne website. Updates on specific program dates for each program year will be provided on the Live in Melbourne website.
Nomination application
Before submitting a visa nomination application, ensure you meet the nomination requirements and have all required supporting documents.
Note: A new nomination application fee applies each time you submit a nomination application.
Refunds
Fees paid to submit a Registration of Interest and/or nomination application are generally non-refundable. For more information, view the refund policy.
Fees paid to submit a Registration of Interest or a nomination application will not be refunded merely because:
- the Registration of Interest does not result in an invitation to apply for a nomination application, regardless of whether the applicant meets the relevant eligibility criteria;
- the nomination application is refused, regardless of whether the applicant meets the relevant eligibility criteria;
- the applicant and/or their representative receive no further correspondence from the Department after their submission of their Registration of Interest and/or their nomination application;
- the Registration of Interest or nomination application is withdrawn;
- the applicant changes their mind and no longer requires the relevant service;
- the applicant receives an invitation to apply for a nomination application but elects not to apply;
- the nomination application is successful but the applicant declines the nomination for any reason;
- the applicant or their representative fails to provide complete and accurate information in their Registration of Interest and/or nomination application;
- the Department is unable to verify the identity of the applicant;
- the applicant or their representative use multiple Live in Melbourne accounts to submit more than one Registration of Interest or nomination application for the one applicant;
- the Department changes the eligibility criteria and/or Ranking and Selection Information without notice or publication on the Live in Melbourne website;
- the Victorian Government withdraws a visa nomination for any reason; and/or
- the applicant or their representative enters an incorrect location and are incorrectly charged a Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Fees may be refunded where there has been an administrative or technical error, or where the services cannot be provided.
Any refund can only be returned to the credit card used for the original payment. If the fee was paid by a third party, such as a migration agent, legal representative or another third party, the refund will be made to the credit card used for that payment.
