Investor stream (subclass 188B)
All applicants must agree to make a designated investment of at least AUD$1.5 million with the Victorian Treasury Corporation.
All applicants must also make an additional investment of at least A$500,000 in Victoria during the provisional period. The investment must be held for no less than 24 consecutive months immediately preceding the subclass 888B nomination application. This investment must be directed into Victorian based Venture Capital (ASIC Registered) fund/s.
Investments made prior to Victorian visa nomination cannot be used to meet this criterion. Loans from Australian financial entities or residents cannot be used to make this investment.

Significant Investor stream (subclass 188C)
All applicants must agree to make an investment that complies as follows:
- invest a minimum of AUD$500,000 into Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity funds,
- invest a minimum of AUD$1.5 million in emerging companies, and
- may be required to invest in a balancing investment to make up a total of at least AUD$5 million in complying investments, depending on the amount invested in Venture Capital and Growth Private Equity funds and emerging companies.

Significant Business History stream (subclass 132A)
Your net capital investment into the Victorian-based business will be at least A$2 million. This must be transferred to Victoria within 24 months of your subclass 132 visa activation. This capital cannot be loaned from an Australian financial institution or individual.
