All occupations on the relevant Department of Home Affairs occupation list are eligible for Victorian Nomination.
Certain occupations in the following industry groups will be prioritised:
- Health
- Social services
- Education (including early childhood)
- Construction
- New energy
- Digital economy – for the 491 visa
- Advanced manufacturing – for the 491 visa
- Hospitality and tourism – for the 491 visa
For subclass 491 applicants living overseas, the following industry sectors will be prioritised:
- Health
- Social services
- Education (including Early Childhood)
