Employment and work experience
There is no need to attach documents at the time of submitting a Registration of Interest (ROI). If your ROI is selected, you will attach relevant documents in your nomination application.
For subclass 190 Skilled visa nomination, if you are living onshore and claiming earnings from skilled employment in Victoria, you will be required to provide the following documents in your visa nomination application:
- your employment contract,
- pay slips (most recent four weeks),
- superannuation statement,
- position description.
Onshore applicants for subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional visa nomination must be living and working in skilled employment in regional Victoria.
Skilled employment includes any role that is at skill levels 1, 2 or 3 in the relevant ANZSCO classification.
Length of work experience and hours of work
There is no minimum experience and hours of work requirement. Casual employment will be accepted.
Contract worker or independent contractor
We may accept if you work as a contract worker or independent contractor provided you meet the minimum eligibility requirements. If you are invited to apply, you should provide:
- tax invoices,
- contractor/services agreement,
- your most recent Notice of Assessment,
- your most recent income tax return.
