Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
Entitlements
Permanent residence.
Requirements
To apply for Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190), you must have:
  • a nominated occupation that is on a Visa Nomination Occupation Lists
  • obtained a suitable skills assessment for that occupation
  • not yet turned age 45
  • achieved the required points test score
  • meet the English language requirement as specified on the Visa Nomination Occupation Lists
  • meet all other visa nomination eligibility requirements.
Conditions
Visa holders must live in Victoria for at least two years.

  • A nominated occupation which is listed on the Commonwealth’s subclass 491 occupation list
  • Obtained a suitable skills assessment for the nominated occupation
  • Not yet turned age 45
  • Achieved the required points test score
  • Met the English language requirements
  • A genuine offer of employment in a designated regional area of Victoria
  • A genuine intention to live, work and study in a designated regional area in Victoria for you and all Dependents included in the application
  • Met all other visa nomination eligibility requirements
