Victoria’s 2022-23 Skilled Visa Nomination Program (subclass 190 and subclass 491) is now open. To be considered for a state nomination you must submit a Registration of Interest (ROI).

Applicants living in Victoria and overseas are encouraged to submit a ROI after reading the eligibility requirements:

If you submitted a ROI for the 2021-22 program, you must submit a new ROI for the 2022-23 program.

Changes from the 2021-22 program

Open to overseas applicants

We will now also be accepting Registrations of Interest from applicants living overseas. Further information about overseas applicant eligibility can be found on the subclass 190 and subclass 491 pages.

More eligible occupations

In response to the demand for a wide range of skilled workers in Victoria, the number of eligible occupations has increased and now includes all occupations on the Skilled occupation list.

Further information about eligible occupations and other requirements can be found on the subclass 190 and subclass 491 pages.

Simpler Registration of Interest process

To apply for Victorian visa nomination, you must submit a Registration of Interest and be invited by Victoria.

The information you provide as part of your SkillSelect EOI will be used in the assessment of your Registration of Interest. This means we will only be asking a few questions for your Registration of Interest. It is important that you keep your SkillSelect EOI up to date, including where you are currently living.

The Registration of Interest page contains further information on assessment and selection.
